2.20.09- Its been about a month and I would say that it is about time for an update. Yesterday arrived one of the first solid swells to remember of 2009. As epic conditions prevailed all along the Jersey Shore I elected to stick close to home and I must say that I am quite satisfied with what this swell delivered. To check out photos from the day check the surfing gallery or go to to www.localswell.com and check out all the other nj photographers photos. I have also posted new photos in the waves, landscapes and nature gallery so check that out as well.

1.2.09 - On December 30th, 2008 a fire broke out in the Pine Surf Shop and Art Gallery in Ship Bottom, New Jersey. All of the local artists pieces fell victim to the fire along with all of the belongings of the residents of the apartments which were located above the shop. It is a very unfortunate situation, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those associated with PINE, especially Julie, Mark, and Sean. If you would like to know what you could do to help please stop in Farias Surf and Sport located directly across the street from Pine on 28th street and Long Beach Blvd in Ship Bottom.
